About us

We are the descendants of a proud and powerful lineage that traces its roots back centuries, to the very foundation of the Swazi nation. As custodians of this rich heritage, the Swazi Royal Family carries forward the legacy of leadership, unity, and cultural preservation passed down from our forefathers.

From the time of Nkhosi I in the 14th century through to King Mswati III today, our royal line has played a central role in shaping the identity, values, and resilience of the eSwatini people. Each generation of kings—visionaries like Ngwane III who established the first Swazi nation nucleus, and Sobhuza II who led Swaziland into independence—has left an indelible mark on our nation’s story.

Our family includes not only the direct kings and regents, but also the many sons, daughters, and extended relatives whose bloodlines run deep within the Swazi clans. Many surnames and respected families across the kingdom trace their ancestry to great monarchs such as Mswati II, Ndvungunye, and Somhlolo.

We honor these roots by promoting historical awareness, encouraging cultural pride, and fostering connections between all descendants of the royal line. Through continued community engagement and preservation of traditional values, we aim to uplift and unite the broader Swati nation.

This family tree is not only a record—it’s a living testament to where we come from and a guidepost for where we’re headed. If you are connected to this lineage, we welcome you to reach out, learn more, and take part in preserving our royal heritage.
